Invisalign Progress Checks

During Invisalign treatments patients come in periodically to check teeth movement. This can now be easily done through an e-visit.

How do I know if an e-visit is right for me?

  • You are unsure if you actually have to physically visit a dentist for your question/concern.
  • You are too busy to visit a dentist.
  • You want to talk to the doctor, but don’t have time to schedule an appointment.
  • You have an after-hours emergency.

How much does it cost?

The cost for your e-visit is $99.00 plus the dental exam if applicable.

Does my dental insurance cover this?

If a dental evaluation is complete, we can bill your insurance for the exam. We will do an exam if we are evaluating an emergency or re-evaluating a treatment plan due to changes.

How does it work?

Click on the link to fill out the health history form and submit. Call 920-623-5559 or email teledentistry@columbusfamilydental.com for help with scheduling an e-visit.

Do I need to download anything?

You can do an e-visit from your smartphone, tablet or computer. We highly recommend downloading the Zoom app, however you can also use the web portal.

What dentist will I be speaking with?

If you are an existing patient, we will try to schedule you with your regular, preferred dentist. If your dentist is unavailable or you are a new patient, you can either schedule an appointment with the doctor of your choosing or request the first available doctor.

What technology do I need?

We recommend using a device with a camera so we can do a video chat, however any device with internet access will work. A camera will help us better evaluate your specific concerns

How long does it take to get an appointment?

First, fill out your New Patient form and submit. Then call (920) 623-5559 and we will get you set up right away for your appointment.

Why do I need to fill out a medical history form?

It is important that we have your medical information to best treat you. Certain medications and health issues impact your oral health, so this information helps us evaluate your concern. In addition we need to know about any allergies if we send in a prescription.

Is this HIPAA compliant?

Yes of course! All of your data is stored on secure servers and transmitted to the office via a secure link.
