BUSINESS Manager

Sandy has been in the dental industry since 1996. Her career began as a dental assistant and then transitioned to the Financial/Insurance Coordinator. In 2007, Sandy took the position of Office/Business Manager for Columbus Family Dental. With Sandy’s clinical, financial and insurance knowledge, she is very flexible to be able to help wherever needed. Sandy was born and raised in Columbus. She is married and has four grown children. Sandy enjoys spending time with her family and friends, golfing, reading and watching the Badgers and Packers.

Office Manger

Deb has worked with Columbus Family Dental since 2011 and been in the dental field for 20 years. She began as a dental assistant and then transitioned into the Finance and Insurance Coordinator, and now the office manager. Outside of work, Deb enjoys spending time with her family, playing softball, and attending her kids’ sporting events.

Front Desk Associate

Cindy is one of the first “Smiles” that you will see when coming into Columbus Family Dental. She has been with Columbus Family Dental since 2008. Cindy has over 30 years of receptionist experience in the medical and dental field. Cindy enjoys the lovely spring and summer days. Cindy and her husband reside in Beaver Dam.

Front Desk Associate

Dawn has been working in the dental field for almost 30 years. She started as a Dental Assistant and currently works as a Front Desk Associate. When she isn’t working, she is out walking, reading, or spending time with family and friends. She resides in Columbus with her husband and two sons.

Debbie Joined the team of Columbus Family Dental in 2024, but has been in the medical field for 27 years. She has a husband of 28 yrs and 2 grown children. Outside the office she loves to spend time with family and friends and cheering on the Badgers and Packers.

Julie has been working in the dental field for 21 years. She started as a dental assistant and currently works as a patient coordinator. In addition to spending quality time with family and friends, she is a huge Badger and Packers Fan and enjoys attending games each year. She resides in Columbus with her husband and two daughters.

FronT DESK ASSOCIATE

Sara joined the team of Columbus Family Dental in 2021 but has been in the dental industry since 2014. Outside of the office you can find her tackling DIY projects, reading and enjoying the company of her husband, Dave. Together they have two fur babies named Zula and Gracie.

Connie has been working in the dental field for over 30 years. She has developed many relationships with patients throughout the years and especially enjoys seeing new generations of families come in. She was born and raised in Columbus and then also raised her two daughters here. She enjoys kayaking, watching Badger Basketball games and spending time with her family and friends.

Holly grew up in Beaver Dam and attended Beaver Dam High School. She graduated with an Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene in 2008 from Madison College. She joined Columbus Family Dental in 2012. Holly loves getting to know each patient and helping them feel comfortable with their dental experience. In her free time, Holly loves to spend time with her husband doing outdoor activities, traveling, and spending time with their family.

Jessica joined Columbus Family Dental and Waterloo Family Dental in 2020. She is a Columbus native and a long time patient of the office. Jessica earned her Dental Assisting certificate at Madison College in 2010 and then graduated from the Dental Hygiene program in 2014. In her spare time, Jessica enjoys gardening, crafting and home decorating.

Nicole joined the team of Columbus Family Dental and Waterloo Family Dental in 2021. She graduated from Madison College in 2016. In her spare time, you can find Nicole spending time outdoors. She enjoys camping, hiking and kayaking with her husband.

Amber graduated from Madison College’s Dental Assistant program in 2015, and joined Columbus Family Dental/ Prairie Lakes Dental in 2020. She loves helping people become happy with their smiles and making them comfortable with being at the dentist. In her free time, she loves spending time with family and friends, watching movies, baking and doing crafts.

Brooke joined CFD in 2022. She has 6 years in the dental field. Outside of work, Brooke enjoys baking, spending time with her family and friends.

Claire is currently on the wait list to further her dental career as a Dental Hygienist. For now, she is working with us as a Dental Assistant until the time comes for her to go to school. Outside of the office she loves traveling, shopping, doing anything outdoors. She also likes spending time with her boyfriend, family, friends and her dog.

Claire has been with our team since December 2023 after completing the Dental Assisting program at Madison College. In her free time she enjoys hiking, cooking, photography, and spending time with her dog, Juneau. Claire has potential plans to go back to school for Dental Hygiene but would like to continue working as a dental assistant for a few years.

Emily has been working as a dental assistant with Columbus Family Dental/Prairie Lakes Dental since 2010. Emily looks forward to the variety that each day brings, and she can’t wait to help you find the smile that you’ve been waiting for. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter and 2 dogs.

Gracie grew up in Madison and attended Madison East High School. She completed the Dental Assistant Program at Madison Area Technical College in 2015. Her favorite parts about her job are building relationships with patients and learning something new every day. When she is not working, she enjoys hanging out with friends and spending time with her dog, Keva.

Jessica joined Columbus Family Dental in 2012. She worked at the Rio location before the merge with Columbus Family Dental. Jessica is very devoted and family oriented.

Kayli joined the team of Columbus Family Dental/ Prairie Lakes Dental in 2020. She has been in the dental field for a number of years. She enjoys helping patients understand their treatment needs and helping them achieve their perfect smile. In her spare time, she stays active with her son, Liam, and spending time with her family and friends.

Karissa graduated from the Dental Assisting program at MATC in the spring of 2021. She completed her clinicals at Columbus Family Dental and started working with us since then. She enjoys the variety dental assisting brings and seeing patients so happy with their new smiles. In her free time you can find her working on vehicles, remodeling and building new projects. She has 2 kittens; Roxy and Reba.

Kytalin started working for Columbus Family Dental her senior year of high school. She loved the atmosphere, staff, and the patients. Once graduated she began working full time as a dental assistant. Kytalin enjoys photography, spending time with family and friends, reading, and playing the piano.

McKenzye graduated from Columbus High School and is applying to schools for dental hygiene. Until she gets into school she is getting experience in the dental field as a Dental Assistant. When she is not working she enjoys playing volleyball, hiking and playing with her animals.

Melissa has been with Columbus Family Dental and Waterloo Family Dental since 2017. Before completing her certification in Dental Assisting from Madison College, Melissa worked as a CNA. She is passionate about great health and dental care and prides herself with making every patient feel comfortable as she helps them perfect their smiles. At home, Melissa enjoys cooking, gardening, and watching movies with her son.

Morgan has been with Waterloo Family Dental/Columbus Family Dental since 2017. She likes making patients feel at home and strives to provide comfort and warmth at every visit. Outside of the work, Morgan enjoys baking and playing with her two fur babies, Carrot and Russet.

Rebecca has been a Dental Assistant for over 15+ years. She began her career in endodontics, but has transitioned in General dentistry to broaden her knowledge of the field. In her free time, Rebecca enjoys spending time with her husband and dog, Facetiming her three grandchildren, and crafting.

Shelby grew up in Monona. She joined our team in 2023. Shelby is passionate about helping others and looks forward to assisting you in perfecting your smile. Outside of the office she enjoys spending time outside, bowling, and being with friends and family.

Shylo has been in the dental field since 2019 after graduating from Madison College Dental Assisting program. She loves creating relationships with patients and helping them feel more comfortable coming to the dental office. She likes being outside, reading, playing video games and spending time with her friends, family and her pets.
